Are you sure, Phen? I checked it on Oplates Friday and it was available.
Will, the wrinkle black holds up really well. I PC'ed my first KL valve covers wrinkle black and after being in the silver P5 then into the Milly they still looked good. I'm sure this one will hold up for a couple years. It also helps that the VC was totally clean and no oil anywhere for good adhesion. And baking the paint in the oven really helps too.
And after a walk with le GF I took this vanity shot. It would've looked much better with a real camera...

whoo I'm in and evan you would be fine with 3rd gear pulls. I had to do 4th because I was spinning in third making the log useless but now with the mounts and suspension and bigger tires I can do 3rd gear pulls again and not get too much above 80. I think its worth the money saved.

Ooof, just blew my quarterly bonus. Ordered an ATP downpipe and Fidanza flywheel from CR3 Motorsports.
And $258 worth of gaskets, studs, and more gaskets from Mazdaspeed.
I've got two auto-x's this weekend and my first drag race experience next weekend. Here's hoping for no ZZB! haha

Yayyyyy! Go fast parts for the slow ms6!
So I read a thread on MSF about replacement RPF1 center caps so I built some for myself too.
Basically they are just 2" conduit plugs (Halex 2" Conduit Knock Out Seal - 60720). I got them online ($1.23 each), painted them black and got some stickers from eBay ($20 shipped for 4). Badabig-badaboom. The Enkei center caps are about $28 a piece. These were $6.23 a piece.

I also finally removed the seized stud in the KO4 I got from Fez (Thanks again for the great deal, buddy!). My boss had a clever trick to grind the sides of the stud flat then use a wrench.
I just washed the car and double checked all the fluids in preparation for the auto-x in Pittsburgh tomorrow and one in Lakeland Sunday. Going to be a great weekend.
