The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

No, that's just how it is.

It's especially coming from the guy who bought his fiance a car and a new house. ;)

I think the biggest thing I've bought Tessa was her $350 violin bow. haha

yes while that is true.. think of all the car parts and stuff I'll be able to buy for the rest of my life? Oh and said car is currently sitting in my work parking lot. Plus everything will change for you when you realize that living together and having someone cook your meals for you instead of TV diners is more fun. :)

What the? I thought you were taking your dad? You guys not going anymore? Does this mean you're coming to the auto-x on the 11th?

Yeah he said I could sell the tickets if I promise to take him to one of the autox's that weekend. If I can get rid of the tickets then I will do both. The one 10 minutes from my house on Saturday then the one everyone else is doing at that college on Sunday.

Also for you autox'ers I found this on groupon today and I saw someone using one at the last event I went to and it seems pretty nice and cheap.

functional logic diagrams for a pulse jet fabric filter. SAMA logic diagrams showing the program for the control system for the plant. It's really a lot of fun, and only 106 pages (if I can ever get to working on it)

Yeahhhhhhh if you could refrain from talking about FLDs and PJFFs or anything work related on the forum while I take a break from said things..... That would be greeeeeeat. Lol

Meh, food is just fuel to me. I'm okay with $3.50 TV dinner.

You learn how awesome food is when all of a sudden you can't eat anything other than moist cardboard and rice... Thanks chron's

Also Summit Motorsports Park is letting me return the tickets for a refund Whoo

and the catch ive found with that is that YES youll make more with a degree but you are also, so ***** with student loans/debt and doesnt really even out for a bit...

not sho... he did it the smart way SUPER SENIOR AWAY!

Patrick is correct. No student loans for me since i only take 2-3 classes per semester depending on what i can afford. The downside is that im starting my 7th (maybe 8th...ive lost track at this point) year at akron and still have another 11 classes to finish my degree

You can try dry cardboard, if that's all you are able to eat? Might tickle your taste buds a little better..

Thanks but its not that bad. Yesterday I had my first steak in over a year and a half and it was amazing but it followed with feeling like I was having a butter knife shoved through my intestines. But I mainly eat chicken and cooked veggies. Microwave and my man george foreman

Or you can be like me... Going on my 8th year of school and still have 10 classes to take. I already have 185 credit hours and still no BFA :(

did you have your stomach stapled or something? I don't understand why you can't eat normal food..

My wife finds some good recipes for cheap and easy dinners on Pinterest. Like tonight, we're having pad Thai made with Ramen noodles and chunky peanut butter. You would think it sounds weird but its good as hell!

Let me ask you married guys something, is it weird that your wife cooks for you?

I always feel weird on the rare occasions my GF makes me dinner. Not sick to my stomach weird, just like it's the 1950's and where's my dinner, woman! - weird. I don't think I would be able to get used to coming home and her making me dinner.

Not at all. My wife cooks amazingly. There are times I make dinner, but mostly Amber does it. I do any and all grilling though.

I cook better than my ex, but every now and then she would make something or we would just fend for ourselves since our schedules were different.

I do enjoy cooking though. especially the things i shoot. thats always the best and most rewarding meal

I'm the one that usually cooks. April has got better over the years though.

No because I like food but can't cook.
