The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

ECS Tuning in Wadsworth has the super blue. But they won't let you pick it up.

My good friend works for ECS Tuning! They have a company car that's a white Audi R8. Too bad only the owners can drive it haha!

I originally was going to use super blue. However, Summit didn't have it on the shelf so I went with Wilwood EXP 600. I've had no issues with it and it has a higher boiling point than the super blue I believe. This reminds me...I need to get more brake fluid and do a flush soon.

Yes. Marinate the bacon in the amaretto, you'll only need enough to cover the bacon. Take it out off the bag and make a bacon basket weave. Then sprinkle brown sugar on one side. Place on a foiled pan. Cook for 10 minutes. Flip and sprinkle with brown sugar again. Cook again for 10 minutes (longer if you want it more crispy). Pour a little more amaretto over the weave and enjoy! :) I've used Tequila, Jack, Jameson, Amaretto, Bailey's, and beer before.

The best way to do it is by going the Irish breakfast shot route. First make a Irish breakfast shot :) In a shot glass pour 1 part butterscotch snapps and 1 part Jameson. In another glass pour O.J. and place a piece of the bacon in it. When makingthe bacon use Jameson, Butterscotch Snapps, and brown sugar. Oh baby!

buddies of mine and i came up with a shot called "Chasing the Bacon" shot of chilled Crown Royal Maple, and you "chase" it with a piece of Bacon... its a GLORIOUS taste of breakfast haha

You guys are making me hungry for bacon

Milestone: The Wagging just hit 100,000K.......

I just hit 74k a week or so ago. He he

I want to take yours for a spin when I get home, thinking about some mods to compliment the RX-8's!

My work is blocking the link but will let me see it :(

Going to be a rainy day in Columbus but hope to have some good news later today :)

We'll be driving through Cbus around 1, drove 9 hours in rain yesterday, why should today be any different. Ugh...

slacker, could've planned for lunch

I'm about to hit 100,000 miles in my MS3 next month :'(

Anybody here about the massive Takata airbag recall? It affects Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda. Estimated 3.4 million cars!
LINK HERE

Made tyte JDM airbags from Takata, yO! Now I'm gonna put Takata stickers all over my Mazdas.

Haha...that close to home after 3 months away, I'm gonna kick it into high gear after Cbus!

lol, I'm definitly not as important. Not sure what way you're going but there has been alot of cops around the I-71/270 area on the north side of town lately. They may not come out in the rain but just a heads up.

I even wore black pants and a yellow polo to work...:(

Levi = 1 Mazda 3
Marlon = Fleet of Mazdas

He can spread the miles around

at this point in time that is true but back when i was making alot of the race trips with MOCO, Marlon always drove the waggin... so i am just surprised that it just hit 100k given how many long distance events i saw it going to

Are you actually going to speed on the highway, Josh?! (gasp)

Speed limit on the OK turnpike is 75. I did 80 through that whole state and was getting passed like I was standing still!

Thanks for the heads up! I don't need to get pulled over a second time during this trip. lol

Got pulled over leaving a truck stop in Missouri around 11 last night. Cop said I didn't use my blinkers and got up to 80+ getting on the highway. I just gave him my story of "been gone for 3 months, just trying to get home to my wife and 10 month old", and he let me go!

Any idea what Mazda models are affected by this air bag recall? We have a 2000 Protege and 2002 Protege5. It says that the recall is for airbags made between 2000-2002 at the Mexico Takata factory.

Im gonna guess its the b-series trucks lol, with only 45k recalled worldwide... that would make sense

(cricket)

what's everyone up to? all working hard? from fb i see Phen is standing outside due to a suspicious package delivered to his workplace ... what about y'all?

Josh, are you home safe yet?

as for the waggin miles, Nate is correct, with 3 cars we can spread it around. AND Marlon did alot of his work commuting with Spicy originally before we really started racing her ... AND up until last November, his daily commute was less than 25 miles round trip ... now he's around 36 miles r/t.

Well....the good news I was hoping for earlier came. I am now in contract on a house! very excited to say the least
