Interior is complete! Floor is painted gloss and the cage is matte. I used VHT (I think?) Roll cage paint. Removed almost all the sound deadening with dry ice. I left the stuff covering the gas tank because that's pretty much right where my exhaust dumps. I'll remove it when it goes under the knife this summer...

I decided to chop up the center console simply because I hate it. Its uncomfortable and just gets in the way IMO. Got a new circular rubber shift boot from Autozone too replace the ripped stock boot. I think it looks way better.

thanks guys! I love it. Only downside is 60mph = deafness. I think it may be time to buy a 500 dollar car, haha. Hopefully 2013 will be this threads busiest. I have a lot planned and it WILL be happening before 100,000 miles. Currently is at about 76k

Wow its been awhile. Life's been super busy over the last month. Got a new job working for a German repair shop and I'v never been happier. Its nice to come home stress free! Moved out of my parents and got a house with a couple friend's. Finally starting to get settled in preparation for Noah's motor build. Protege is doing fine minus some little things. Wheel bearing are starting to go in the front again. Not surprising considering I miss judged the torque buy about 20lbs. Caved in my passenger fender due to my coils running themselves down. Some where along the line I lost the thrust bearing for the RF coilover. Looking into "spring" perches that act almost like a wave washer, should work great. Gonna order two new fenders in the next couple weeks. Still debating if I wanna get rid of the camo or do both black mica. Noah and I have always talked about doing a snow camo design with the AAC logo hidden and blended in.

This is crazy that I found this thread. I remember meeting you at Speedware a couple years ago. I had that white E30 vert on WRD mesh wheels. I was there having them roll the front fenders. I totally remember your car from then when I picked up my Protege. Good to see you're still rocking the Protege. Didn't you pick up a classic Celica?

Damn, its a small world. Haha. Yeah, I remember that. I was trying to pick up something along those lines, but I ended up with a e30 for a bit. Ended up selling it before I went to school. Man I miss that car
