Ebay CX-5 Door Scuff Protector. Not Bad.

Applied using extra double sided tape. Eye balled alignment.

I recieved Chinese door sills, mud flaps, and a Mazda key fob cover yesterday, from a EBay vendor purchased on Feb 19. I am impressed by the quality of the Door sills. I was expecting to be disappointed. I can see that doubling up the moulding adhesive would help because of the slightly raised rubber trim that would keep the tape from making solid contact. For $25, no scratches, no pre install damage. The turned edge is exactly where the shoe marks are on my car already.

Bopper. can you post the link of the Ebay seller for your Door Sills?
Did they stinked?
Thanks

I will be ordering these soon, they look to have a plug of sorts. Is there a plug on the CX-5?

These instructions make it look like there's a plug in the car for these:

Zeal Red,
I have the exact same ones, have had them for about a month, and still have not wired them. I cannot find any info on how to wire them. I tried finding the wiring for the door switch, but cant find the door switch for the dome lights. As for the plugs go, they do have plugs, to plug together, all four come together into one lead that i guess you are supposed to run to the fuse box on the drivers side. The end of that lead is just a bare wire, with i believe a fuse heat shrinked into the wire. If you have any idea how to actually wire them, or if anyone reading this does, please send me some info.

I think they are a bluish white. I havent wired them yet, but we probably got them from the same place.

Just got mine the other day. The 25 dollar Chinese one. Works just fine. Really didn't want to pay over a hundy for a piece of metal to step on. This serves its purpose and is priced right. Hope this helps others. I will also note that it took a long time to come in. The first one got lost in the mail but the seller was great & sent me another. No questions asked.

I stuck the Chinese Ebay door sills on Yeterday. I ran another strip of molding tape right on top of the current strip that came pre-installed. I think making the molding tape taller was more important then just adding more at the same height level, because the black edge molding adds some depth to back of the molding and would keep some of the tape from making solid contact. I think the OEM door sills are nicer looking, I don't like that they dont cover the edge of the sill like the China ones do. In the month or so of me telling my kids to not kick the car with there baseball cleats the only place they have hit is the edge that is now protected.

Looks nice. Is there a gap on the edges to allow grime & small pebbles to get underneath?
Also can you post the link to where you got these?
I like the 2 horizontal stripes, different front other & I've only seen these listed for $70.
