If you are going to street race, do the world a favor... get yourself an S13 and wrap the ****** around a pole. Off yourself and get rid of a multi-colored , zip tied piece of s*** and save the good cars for those who appreciate them.

It really doesn't, but I get hastled every damn day by hondas. Just because my car is louder than I want, doesn't mean I want to race. Leave me the **** alone.

Heh... I rarely want to do 80 mph with you guys on the highway let alone pull that s***. Have I blown someone's doors off before? Yeah. I'm not innocent. But at the same time, talking about it is against forum rules. I'm trying to enforce that but don't have mod powers in that section.

This. We've all done something stupid in our past. You live and learn. I can only recall two instances of "racing" in my past and both were on the highway. Even though I didn't initiate either I was young and had a turbocharged P5 so my teenaged ego couldn't take backing down. My biggest vice was driving recklessly on curvy roads (i.e. "cruises"). Going to school in the mountains didn't help. After I understeered into the other lane and almost got into a head-on collision with a large truck that all stopped. Now my "spirited" road driving is generall within the speed limit. I just ignore those yellow speed limit signs

on another note, my DA (Dental Assistant) had a 2000 VW bug that she bought a couple of years ago at auction for $3200 ... it's been a major lemon with electrical problems, needs a new tranny (she couldn't drive over 40mph because it wouldn't shift!!) and the CE light was on all the time. She finally decided to get rid of it, posted it on Craigs List last night, LISTING ALL THE PROBLEMS and she sold it for $3k within an hour!!! She said her phone was blowing up the minute she listed it. Some young girl came last night while it was snowing, didn't even take it for a test drive, gave her $3k cash and drove away. I guess she had been looking for an auto and most of the other one's listed for sale have been manuals so she didn't care that she'd have to put $1200 into it for a new tranny. anyway, didn't realize there was such a demand for those things!! LOL

Speaking of rich though, to put things in perspective, my future mother-in-law asked me a couple months ago during a conversation what I considered "rich" to be. I said $70k a year. She laughed for about 10mins straight. Hey, to me, that is rich! Haha. I make half that and I'm very happy. I can't imagine making twice I do, I would be crazy rich! haha
