I was going to put on the CS Jpipe and notice a fitment issue on the CAT side. The bolt holes that came on the CS pipe isn't large enough to go through the stock studs. Do you go about drilling a larger hole on the CS pipe or switching out the stud? The stud seemed to be pretty stuck, gave it a couple hard oomph's but refuses to even loose a bit.

seriously? I have never heard of anyone having fitment issues with just a j pipe...ever. Post pics of what you are talking about

I did notice the mounting holes on the stock J-pipe is way larger than the CS pipe. It's the ring (right after the threads) on the stock stud thats preventing the the pipe from going further. I am at work right now and they have some machines that I can enlarge the mounting holes. Is it a good idea to enlarge since I have the resource here or get some pix up first?

No one has ever had this problem?

Finally got some pic. The problem is obvious and is a quick fix. I thought it wouldn't hurt to share this anyways if someone else might run into the same problem down the road. I enlarged the hole today, but seemingly I need to enlarge it even more. The connection to the S pipe is dead on, makes me wonder why the other part isn't. Just out of curiosity, did anyone have to replace their stock studs?

Im pretty sure the stock exhaust had bolts with springs, not studs. I have never heard of anyone with a CS j pipe having this issue.

Those are the stock exhaust studs, I would just drill the holes larger. To be honest the J pipe alone going to the stock cats and after the stock S pipe is not going to make a difference.

Oops, used the wrong word. Yeah, I figured they were stock bolts sincethey were loaded with springs. Thats pretty wack then haha!! I'll modify it some more today and get some pix of the install if its successful xD

I've heard otherwise, but that is a good point tho. Cant beat an easy bolt on for a good price :) . I guess it's just another piece of investment down the road.
