I'm glad you were able to talk to him about it and get it all figured out like a couple of normal people. Seems like everyone these days is all crazy about everything and makes a simple transaction like that super difficult.

I'm going to have to check out these MS3's. They're all the rage nowadays.

I hear that they are pretty much a dime a dozen and have killed the allure of the Mazdaspeed rareness... hehe

I really liked the numbered limited edition Mazdaspeeds, but at the same time I think Mazda did a good thing with the MS3. Now that the RX-8 is gone, what would Mazda have in their performance lineup except the Miata without it?

I dunno... but without it they could ramp their CAFE rating up a lot quicker and get the rotary back sooner for all the fans.

I'll be ready for my next car in 2016-17. They'll need to bring the rotary back by then for my own selfish needs/wants.

Yeah, I'm gonna hang on to my Speeds for a while (like I've never said that before...) but it will be nice to see the rotary make a comeback.

On a side note, if someone besides Lauri wants to come to the Open House and see our building let me know, I need to RSVP as there will be refreshments.

I'm interested to see if the 16X ever does make it. Although, rotaries completely piss off all other auto makers. I love mine though.

I see a 2 door speed 6 w/ awd more likely than the rotary coming back here with the excpetion of a small production run

The rotary will be back, that is the whole reason behind the SkyActiv Diesel program....The Rotary is what separates Mazda from other automakers.

They are still working on it. Supposedly there is some sort of laser ignition system. Either way, I love rotaries, and have high hopes for it, but still think its one of those "I'll believe it when Mazda USA announces the cars will be on the lot in the next year or so"

The sound is great though. I dont know if you remember Justin Kelly, but he had an rx8 up until his first deployment a few years back...and the couple times he let me drive it were awesome, they handle so well.

You can hear mine Saturday, its catless, with corksport 2.5" catback, and the cat has been replaced with a magnaflow straight through muffler. Still loud as ****. I am debating more sound deadening inside the car.
