Cheapest way to ship engines? anyone?
Mainly just looking for someone who has shipped an engine before and had good service.

I've had a bunch of engines/trans shipped to me over the years because I'm a shop manager. It really depends on distance and carrier. I can normally get your average 4/6cyl. engine shipped within 150 miles for about $100.

I've shipped a straight 6 cummins engine for under 90 across the country via freight

It's not really expensive to ship an engine like people think. Hell, I had my Grand Cherokee shipped to me from Palm Springs, California to Knoxville for $600. That would have cost me that in fuel and 3 days time...

they just use the wrong companies to ship with

alright sweet thanks for the insight but none of you guys gave me companies lol im pullin my motor and shipping it to brian in indiana and having it shipped back the few quotes i got so far are about 250 1 way.

(how much do pro engines weigh?)

HAHA well everyone always does black, and a few people do the bronze color scheme with the spicy i dont like don stuff thats already been done so im goin with the gold color scheme eventually get some other things under the hood powder coated gold and i wanna get some gold rims with a chrome lip...eventually lol
