What have you done to your MSP today?

i just ordered a set of Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110's from tire rack. They are giving 80 bucks back on a mail in rebate so total i will have paid 380 shipped for a set of tires.

I should have my engine completely assembled and ready for install by this Sunday!!!
Did you do an entire rebuild on the engine or just install new rods and pistons? Seems like it was a pretty quick turnaround for a forge build. Also was this done by a shop or did you do it yourself?

Didn't know all the parts you had purchased so I didn't know if you had done head work, machining done etc. I also didn't know you worked in a shop. I don't have all those resources so I'm having a shop that's 2 hours away doing the machine work, and I'll either do the assembly myself or find a trusted shop to do that as well. Either way it would end up being a 2 month ordeal, minimum.

I just so happen to be in an area that doesn't have much to offer Car enthusiasts. I used to live in the Virginia Beach area but at the time I didn't have the protege or a build going on so it didn't help me. As soon as I move that's when I need everything I used to have. Good luck with your build by the way, hopefully you don't assassinate this one anytime soon. (2thumbs)

I hope this s*** isn't happening right now. I just spent the last freaking hour trying to put the manifold back on but I can't get the flange to line up with the studs. Feels and sounds like the down pipe is hitting the oil pan when I try to line the holes up. One thing after another man I tell you.

I ordered my AWR mounts from PG... It took me excessively long to get the mounts... I had to contact Ken directly in order to get the ball moving. I should have just purchased them directly from AWR.

I never order from PG, had bad experiences like everyone else. I also had terrible experiences with AWR. From now on its only CS, sam or cr3 although they need to add more parts :p

Let me know how you like them, I was looking at the exact same tires. Mine are pretty much slicks in the front now and it really sucks in the rain.

will do i was going to buy star specs for 660 shipped since they were on sale but these were almost 300 bucks cheaper and on the car and driver test they came in 2nd right behind the star specs in their test.

Should have emailed discount and have them matcht he tire price...would have worked out the same even with the replacement included haha. Thats what I did last time.
