What have you done to your MSP today?

All it took for me was riding in a Subaru on the course. I was sold on getting a car that wasn't fwd. He had crap tires and it was his first time out ever and ran a second faster.

That's the thing. I whoop up on some WRXs/STIs on the regular at auto-x.

Installed my HIDs... Uninstalled my OE steering wheel... MSM wheel will be here today... Unfortunately it doesn't really matter because I don't have a motor in the car that sounds like a clothesdryer full of gravel and nickels...

Got my Techna-fit SS braided lines from CR3 today. They look top notch, can't wait to install them.

Anyone have any preference for over the counter brake fluid to flush the system with? Dont want anything I need to change every damn year like ATE Super Blue.

the best thing i would try to do is just see if someone will let you drive there car. are the other car's in sm to? driver has a lot to do with it. lol

No, usually STU, or STM, but they're on the best 140 tires out there. These are the guys winning their classes that I'm beating though.

Depends on what class and how much money you have too. I started out in STX then moved to SM and now went to were I belong in SMF. Driver mod plays a huge role in autoX. A little bit more power helps in the SM and SMF classes though and that is where I fall behind. Hopefully next year I'll be able to give them help when I shave some lbs and have a motor with a little more pep :) Hard to compete against HB Civics that are at minimum weight and running 20+ lbs of boost and having custom suspensions and running on 255 series Rcomps.

There was a guy at a auto-x a few months ago in a 4 door non Vtec single cam with just coilovers, sways, and some 200 wear tires eating everyone up. He ended up 10th out of 70 ppl and fastest fwd. I was very impressed.

Going to teh Diznee I think.

In other news, just sent payment for those Wiseco pistons in the FS section. I am going to pick up the 55,000 mile engine tomorrow and ordering gskets and bearings tonight. All that's left to order are the rods and I'll probably do that tomorrow, too. No more Zoom-Zoom-BOOM! Hopefully.. Or at least less often. LOL

So i adjusted my throttle cable and replaced my cluster bulbs since one of them burnt out. I also bolted my my carbing strut tower bar only to find it's hitting my reverse cowl hood. Time for some hood modification.

Cleaning up the engine bay. Just discovered that LA's Totally Awesome Rust Calcium & Lime removes water spots better than aluminum polish from my piping. Its cost a dollar for a Qt bottle. Their Grill & Oven cleaner will clean your muffler tip too. So for $2 plus tax you can make things shine. It was wipe on and then wipe off with another moisented rag. The muffler tip you can just rinse out with the hose.
