What have you done to your MSP today?

Wanting to buy those Wiseco pisonts in the FS section, but the OP won't return my PM... This could be the determining factor in whether the MSP gets forged now or later...

if he isnt responding then just buy new... if people are slow to respond they more then likely will be slow to ship or just flake out and your out of your money. Or at least thats how it ended up the few times i got jipped.

Alright someone please help me with this one!

Had my exhaust manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, thermostat, and thermostat gasket replaced last week. No CEL showed up until about 50 miles afterwards. It was running fine until on my way home from school today and I noticed everytime I give it about half throttle it stumbled REALLY bad. Think it could be a bad o2 sensor or faulty spark plug or injector?

Ang input helps as I really don't want to **** it up any further.

You'll love it. Biggest improvement from a single mod in my car, hands down. Makes it pull hard all the way to redline.

If it wasn't as heavy as the block I'd look for one.
I know it's probably splitting hairs but still. Weight added is weight added. They do look pretty cool though.

new 626 injector seals getting ordered hopefully tomorrow and I also have a lead on another AEM wideband to replace my stolen one for a shocking $50!! Hope that pulls through. If that works out, then my P.E.P. dp will get installed this weekend...or earlier depending on how I feel. Looking around to replace my cheap boost gauge with an AEM digital boost gauge. Hoping to find a deal on that too.

I somehow opened a page from 03/27/12 and you said, "I drove the **** out of the car today" and I was like, "hell yeah, man! What fixed it?" Then I realized what date it was... LOL

Does it weigh more than the OE manifold?

haha, I actually remember when I posted that. I had a lot of fun that day hitting some back roads

Just checked the WGA to make sure it wasn't building too much boost. Clip is still holding it on, and it's holding the pressure when I blow into the vacuum line. Should I start by replacing the o2 sensors, spark plugs, or fuel injectors?

They had the valve cover off, so they could have disturbed a failing ignition coil or wire... But don't start throwing parts at it!

Well I checked the CEL and it came up with P0134, "Heated oxygen sensor H02S (RF) circuit no activity". First probably cause listed is an exhaust leak (which I doubt), faulty injector, engine mechanical condition, and faulty heated oxygen sensor. But I've also heard of people's spark plugs have caused the same symptoms.

If I even build a little boost, the car stumbles horribly. So much that I'm scared it'll blow the engine or something.

Amongst trying to figure out this problem that cant be solved ive done a couple little things recently

(sorry about the SU decal from the previous owner.)

Im really happy with how these came out!

And the Mazdas247 stickers fit well:

If you have a P0134 that's for the front O2 which controls fuel mixture. If you're PCM is seeing no activity from it, most definitely start in that are. Make sure that it wasn't allowed to touch the manifold or anything else that could damage the wiring. If that seems intact, you can get really technical and I can provide you with a way to test it if you have an ohm meter. Otherwise, you can throw one on there. I've seen it happen that it was disturbed when removing the manifold to replace the gasket (happened to me in fact) in all likelihood, the O2 has failed.

My brother thinks I'm crazy, and that unless I buy a Lotus Elise, or a Miata with Motons, not much else can handle better than the MSP. That's the thing. What if I buy another car, and it's not as good? I'd be kicking myself for parting it. IDK, I need to drive some other cars, I think.

All it took for me was riding in a Subaru on the course. I was sold on getting a car that wasn't fwd. He had crap tires and it was his first time out ever and ran a second faster.
