The bumpstops on this car are part of the suspension, and the car rides on them even when stock. A bunch of the AutoX guys have done tests and proven that in hard cornering they're being hit quite a bit. Basically they're not like normal hard rubber bumpstops, they're made of a soft squishy material, and they basically make the suspension stiffer when you're cornering hard, but without making ride quality worse in normal driving. I personally don't plan on cutting them.
i agree with this,but with the H&R springs which are firmer you dont spend as much time on the bumps..so for me it helped but then again i dont autox
