The bumpstops on this car are part of the suspension, and the car rides on them even when stock. A bunch of the AutoX guys have done tests and proven that in hard cornering they're being hit quite a bit. Basically they're not like normal hard rubber bumpstops, they're made of a soft squishy material, and they basically make the suspension stiffer when you're cornering hard, but without making ride quality worse in normal driving. I personally don't plan on cutting them.

i agree with this,but with the H&R springs which are firmer you dont spend as much time on the bumps..so for me it helped but then again i dont autox

I'm running a 1 inch drop from Bilstein Coilovers. The car is sitting on BLACK 15X7.5 949racing wheels wrapped in 205/50/R15 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's

3 different wheel specs:

15x7.5 949 Racing 6UL's, 205/50 and 225/45/15 Nitto NT-01's, s*** load of a drop over stock, KSport coils, no rear threaded locking collars in the rear, H&R Camber Bolts with no camber (blame my former alignment guy)

Goodwin: 949 Racing Lug nuts, Dog Bone Rear Mount, Braided Brake lines with Dot4 Blue Audi race fluid, Brembo front rotors
OEM Mazdaspeed3: Dead pedal, Door sills, front and rear headrest, oil cap from a gen 1 with a larger o-ring so that it would center, OEM antenna, Cobb Shift knob
OEM: rear bumper guard, all weather mats, intergrated Blue Tooth, Homelink Compass Mirror,
Misc: 4800k hi/low HIDs and 3000k h11 HID's in the fogs

I love the look of the asa's kinda leaning toward a set of slips my self...
