Just installed some MB Weapons. They are 15x7 +35 offset on stock tires for now. The car is on Racing Beat springs. Pardon my finger in the corner of the side shot. I got a little excited.

loving that color! I know discount tires sells mb's a lot but i don't know too much of their reputation. Looks real good though

DTC uses a variety of companies to supply wheels under MB brand. A-tech Japan makes these. Good wheel a little better than Rota IMO.
As for strength I've had everything from Steel, cast, cold forged, and even magnesium. I've seen some pretty messed up wheels and anything is breakable with enough force. That being said I ran a rail spike through my Boyd Coddingtons, sheard spokes of my Enkei's pronounced (N K),and curb blasted my techno magnesio. But as for DTC they have strict guide lines for wheels being strong so feel safe.

I have those rims in that color on my subie mine are a little bigger though 17X8. But they are nice i like them i wanted Rota Grids but these will do just fine IMO.

Thanks for posting that up! I've been considering getting that exact wheelset when my stock tires wear out, plus I've got the racing beat springs as well. I only wish they were available in a +40 offset since the ride height on the RB's isn't quite low enough to compliment the low wheel offset. The 16" size is supposedly available with a +38 offset, though for performance purposes I'd prefer 15's. One thing I like about those is they look super easy to clean. Not too many spokes, and no sharp edges.

Did you get that weight yourself or did you find it published somewhere? I'm pretty sure I saw those listed as 12.8 lbs somewhere. Either way it seems like a great wheel for the price.

yeah a little bit lower would look perfect but im willing to sacrifice looks for the advantages of being a little bit higher. I got the weight from standing on a bathroom scale using the subtract body weight from holding the wheel weight method. Its a pretty decent scale so I would imagine its fairly accurate. they do look ridiculously easy to clean and that is definitely a huge bonus. I used to have an 89 dodge daytona with the "snow flake" wheels. that was a nightmare...

Really nice wheel choice - and great color contrast against the red! +1 Go Racing Beats!!!

Thats got to be accurate then, I'm impressed that they are actually lighter then advertised. And I just hate spending more time cleaning the wheels then the rest of the car. Last couple sets I had on other cars were rpf1's (2 sets) and superleggeras, both looked awesome, and both were a PIA to clean. If I ever get RPF1s for my 2, they will be black.

they look identical to my motegi's but 2lbs heavier ..nice wheels what they cost

They were 455 shipped with rings lugs and a tps "rebuild" kit. Probably didn't need the tps kit but its only 3 dollars per tire so I figured why not.

yeah it was an awesome deal. i got them from discount tire direct. i read on this forum that the canadian 2s are not equipped with TPS. i wish it was optional down here. i can check tire pressure myself and i don't need a light on the dash to tell me when i have a flat/low tire.
