Hey guys,

I got this intake from some guy on ebay. I forget his name, but you can just search by bidder for cmack98 and it will come up in my list of stuff I have bid on (just don't mind the porn and other stuff that I have bid on as well..)

Anyway, I got it for like $63 bucks shipped! This was my first ever engine mod that I have ever done to any of the cars that I have ever owned, so I am kinda proud of the final result. The only thing with the intake is there were no directions. On the other hand, it was kinda self explanitory, and I had no problems figuring it out. As you can see, it don't go all the way down into that hole that the injen intake goes into, but at a fraction of the price I'm not complaining.

The one thing is that it sure does sound cool when I jump on the throttle!!! Plus, I think it looks pretty badass when you pop the hood.

Anyway, here are some pics of how I did it....Any comments, suggestions, does it look allright?

I think that's the same one I have on mine. I paid around $77 shipped if I remember right. Works great.

That intake looks great! I might have to consider getting a new intake now, instead of all the cutting on the factory box I have been doing... That's a great price too...

Oh, is that Gatorade water stuff any good? I've been meaning to try some of that...I don't think they have it here in MS yet though. LOL

Hahahahaha,

I was wondering if after I took the picture, if someone was going to notice that Gatorade Propel bottle sitting there!

It's not that bad. I just started going to a gym, and we would always grab a bottle of gatorade when we were done. Once I saw how many carbs were in there, I thought that was an area I could cut back on...Im not on that no carb diet, but when it comes to stuff like that I am tryin to be good...

Anyway, that Propel stuff only has 3g of carbs. They have a couple of different flavors, and its not as good as the real stuff, but better than plain jane water (for me anyway).

Anyway, search under my ebay ID to find the guy I got it from...I am really happy with how everything came out...

My other question for everyone (and I know there was a thread about this) Does ANYONE actualy have that bolt in the heat shield that CMack is missing?? Mine's missing too and I know others lost theirs. If you have it, what did you do Supeglue or what?

well you KNOW that mine is missing too....I just never think about it till I pop the lid to show someone something or change the oil then think....DAMN, I need to put a new bolt in there....and just never have gotten a "round toit"....
