The Cap is good, and I've never filled it completely to the top. Always to seam. I have inspected the entire line, no leaks anywhere, not even a drop or residue on any of it.
What I find strange is that your lines are good and you have new cylinders and.it almost sounds like u still aren't getting any pressure from.the pedal. What about if you take the slave cylinder off so the rod has nothing in front of it will it extend.fully or.just on tiny bits.
Quick question. As I'm pulling the transmission, more bolts than I've ever seen on any transmission, I happen to notice a 2 wire harness just hanging. It looks as if it hasn't been hooked up to anything in a very long time. The only thing that doesn't have a harness plugged into it is one sensor at the back of the transmission that sits on top, and it also looks as if nothing has been hooked up to it for a very long time. What might that be??
If its on the top where the axles go in its the plug for the speed sensor (dummy plug). The one on the bottom front is reverse lights and bottom back is neutral safety
The dummy plug, ok I understand. I also noticed this is not the stock transmission, it has wrecking yard markings all over it, so it has been replaced before I bought it. What is a good suggestion of a clutch to buy for this?? It's my daily driver, but I do take it to the the track a few times each summer.
It seems to very from person to person but I have an f1 racing stage 1 in my Honda and it does great and has for a very harsh 5k mile so far. Also did you check to see if your clutch line was expanding?
What do you mean by expanding? The rod on the slave cylinder fully expands if that's what your asking. and if I have a friend hold the clutch pedal, it will not bleed off on it's own.
Yah it wasn't doing that, just got the tranny out. The throwout bearing was hung up on the pressure plate and bent one of the springs inward. Bummer Deal. No wonder I didn't feel any pressure, It wasn't even trying to push the springs on the pressure plate.
