Fishdonotbounce's 2008.5 CWP Speed3 GT "Build" Thread

Did not weigh them. Let me see if I can track down the weight of the tires...

EDIT: Quick search shows the tires weighing in at 25.4 lbs each. If that is correct, total weight comes in at 43.75 lbs.

I sure do. Conti DW in 235/40-18. I'm pretty impressed with the weight of the wheels. They're actually lighter than the enkei wheel they're a replica of. I don't mind if the thread gets a bit off topic as long as its useful convo :D

Awwwww snap! Just ordered Hawk HPS front and rear brake pads and StopTech SS brake lines from my friends at CR3Motorsports!

Finally! Haha! And good looking out with going with CR3. Let me know when you want to install them and I'll come give you a hand, brotha.

you'll enjoy that setup, i have a similar setup (slotted rotors)

when you really need to brake they grab like a ***** ape...
my cousin and i were talking on one drive back to my parents house and i said if i wanted, i could brake so hard he'd smack his face off the dash, he didnt believe me, i stood on the brakes, and the car stopped in a hurry, i lost the bet cause his face didnt hit the dash, but seeing the bruise the entire way across his chest from where the seat belt was the next day made losing the bet totally worth it hahaha

Haha that's awesome! I took a couple of my really good friends from college for a ride in Shamu a few months ago and they wanted to see how the car handled. I was alone on a long road and did a lane change so fast that the guy in the back ended up with his face smashed into the seat. It was classic. I'm glad to know that it'll be able to stop just as fast :D

I wanna help with brakes as well so I have a better feel when I do mine.

Sounds good to me.

Wheres the pics?

Pics of what? lol
