What have you done to your P5 today?

Wait, what? Sorry to hear Nate, I know you just picked it up. Hope you and the fam are ok! Any ideas on what the replacement will be?

yeah, I posted about it in the Ohio thread. It was just me in the car and I'm fine, the tranny got stuck in D from the impact and the labor cost to fix that alone pretty much totaled it. The replacement will be my MSP mostly de-modded. I want a house more than I want a new car right now and I would like to see what Mazda comes up with to replace the 6.

the person in front of me stopped on a green light in a right turn only lane because they were lost and didn't want to turn right and i wasn't expecting that. front end is smashed and the trans is stuck in D so it won't start. I was going about 25 mph when I went from coasting to the intersection to slamming on the brakes.

And while I have your sympathies...I just signed up to ride 50 miles in this year's Peltonia in August. It's a bike ride where 100% of the donations for riders go to cancer research. More Info Here They have you commit to raise $1250 for the 50 mile ride but I only have to try to raise $650, the other $600 is covered by my work. So I get to be that annoying guy begging people for money. If you would like to donate to my ride you can do so here. I'm also going to put a link in my signature if you want to do it at a later time. My plan is to see if I can get 650 people to donate atleast $1, more is always appreciated.

Thanks,
Nate

Jigga- what spacers are you running?

none. I've been asking everyone with msp wheels and nobody wants to give up secrets !
Im thinking of getting 5mm front and 8 back... but id rather get the mp3 ecu first :)

Btw nate, you'l be hearing from me soon. id love to help

Sweet! and I would run 8 on the front and 5 in back, the rear's are closer to flush to begin with. But it's not hard to switch and find what works and looks better

If you want your MSP wheels to be flush with the fenders, you will need at least a 25mm bolt on spacer.

Drove it to the train station. In the parking lot it felt like one of the brakes was dragging, sure enough the left rear caliper is stuck...

Hopefully it's just a dirty slide pin, all of my calipers are just a year old :(

It seems as though there has been an out-break of seized calipers lately. Glad I put Mazda6 calipers and rotors on mine. Got rid of those POS calipers!
