Your friend has done a very nice G8 re-conversion. So where did he get the Holden parts?
Very nice! Which lips are you running on your 5? And what tire size / wheel size / offset?![]()

Thanks for the compliment. The lip kit is the Bayson R unit. The front and side fit perfect, the back took some masaging. The wheels are TSW Donnington 19x8 35et front, 19x9.5 40et rear. Tires are Nitto NT555 225/35 front 235/35 rear. The rear had to be rolled to clear, but other than that they ride good. I have taken two road trips to Buffalo(750 mile round trip) no problems.
I looked through my records... apparently I've asked you the same thing before.Did you roll the fronts?
It's all good.I did not roll the fronts. The only rubbing is a slight rub on the liners on hard dips.
Ooh. Time to really measure and see how much tire I can stuff in there. Oh, what camber up front? That will make a difference. I pulled my fronts back out to -1.0 degrees at 25.75" fender to ground height, so I probably have less front clearance than you do if you don't have a camber kit up front.
My camber is -1.2 up front, -2.5 rear. That is just where it sat after I installed then Tein springs. I want to dial in some more negative camber front and rear, but I'm gonna wait till I get the BCs next year.
Hmm. I'm at -1.0 and -1.5. Maybe I can run a bit deeper in front to clear the fender. Did you hit the shock in the rear? At least in the front, additional camber (from using an adjustable top plate) moves the strut at the same time so inner clearance isn't an issue...
