Update:
Officially put a buncha miles on my new setup now. It's been running quite well, and hasn't left me stranded thus far. This motor just looooooooves to sing! Plus, doing the ATX > MTX swap .... that was the best mod thus far to the car - no doubts. Now that it's starting to warm up - I have to get this damn A/C working though. I had to wait until after dark lastnight to take my kiddos to their mother's house, because it was too hot for my daughter. Any suggestions for this? The P5 lines will NOT connect directly to the KL compressor - no questions asked. The aluminum fittings aren't the same sizes between the KL's female connections and the P5's male lines.
I have a few plans on the horizon, mostly to do with bodywork, a subtle bodykit, some cambering to fix my minor rubbing in the back and sit it a little more flush, paint (this one I'm excited about), interior rework (seats, audio, dash, gaugepod), and after that's all finished up - boost. I want to wait for the boost, until the rest of it is pretty much done - just for reliability-sakes. But I've sourced some parts, looking at spending around 1k, and it will center around a Super60 snail (or something comparable), FMU, 929 Injectors, custom piping, some intake manifold mods (Vris delete, some port matching, etc) some sort of piggyback for the ECU - because I don't want to lose the ECU as it works and performs just fine - just need some additional fuel, timing, and spark management.
