I have the 2011 Mazda 2 Touring Automatic. I know a lot of cars 1.5 auto with turbo. I�m just trying to make it more fun to drive. You know new exhaust, headers, etc.
I�m not trying to make this into a race car and by all means I�m not gonna run this car harder than it can handle.
So I can get a turbo, as long as I do get a intercooler and don�t do any torque-braked drag launches.

KO4 is WAY TOO BIG for the 1.5

idk about the k04... it is small though.
if you got something small like (some ppl are on gt15s motorcycle sized turbos lol) gt15 you wouldnt need a intercooler (though it never hurts) gt15 would be good for 150hp and its so damn small you could breathe on it and be spooled.
Boost in reverse, lol.
i was not aware the ko4 was used in the mazda3. I am originally a VW guy. sold my gti for the M2
