Sorry that this isn't related to the current topic but I just got an email from NNJR region PCA with their track schedule...
Lime Rock, April 11, 12, two full days
NJMP Thunderbolt / Lightning, April 30, May 1 (Solo Drivers)
Mid Ohio, May 18 20, three full days
NJMP Thunderbolt, June 15, 16
Pocono (North Course) June 29 (Ladies Day)
Pocono (Full Course) June 30, July 1
Mosport, July 13-15 (with UCR), three full days
Watkins Glen, August 3-5 (three full days)
NJMP Lightning, September 1, 2
Watkins Glen, September 17, 18 (Solo Drivers)
VIR, November 2-4, three full days
They run a special for Mid-Ohio, VIR, and Mosport if you do 2 of those events you get $50 off the second registration and if you do 3 you get another $100 off the 3rd registration.
It's the most affordable track time I've found. At Mid-Ohio it is 3 days for $375 and it is usually 4-5, 30 minute sessions per day. And because a lot of the folks are from NJ I've yet to have a Mid-Ohio event where the run groups didn't get combined on Sunday. Last year due to some weather conditions that scared people away it was open track for everyone remaining for the last 2 hours.
I'm not affiliated with PCA particularly the NNJR being from Ohio obviously, just thought I'd let you guys know
FWIW, I did the VIR event in '10 and it was awesome other than all the stupid GT3s
