What have you done to your Miata today?

I'm more bummed about the roll bar, and after more thought it would be nice to have the display but I can't really justify it. My 3 looked like a space ship with all the stuff I had in it and I don't want the MSM looking like that. I'm also restricting myself to how much stuff I mod so I don't really need to monitor all that stuff. Maybe if I actually keep it as a racecar, eventually, but I change my mind a lot so who knows.

the tach is not lit up, and it has a shift light, but you get the idea

I never noticed the giant tach before!

I had a blue LED on it, so it would match the other gauges, the shift light was also blue. Oh and the steering wheel is covering the volt meter...

You're not helping your case... Why do you need a shift light or a 6" tach? (boom07)

lulz... it was easier for me to look at the big ass tach on the mid-left than look at the dash, and I think my engine was thankful for the shift light, didn't hit the rev limiter as much after I got it

LMAO... I'm not saying I need another one, I'm staying away from it. I think the MSM is pretty clean now, it shall stay this way

I love the third hand btw

...i just want to see the needle go back and forth! LOL

i don't have one...and you're right, i'm leaving it stock, so i don't really need one.

Why do you think you need one? Your car is stock.

Honestly, a boost gauge can be beneficial because Mazda didn't add one. Every car I have ever owned with a turbo or supercharger had some kind of gauge on it.

Just because the factory doesn't add one and the owner adds one doesn't make it bad. It really can just be a monitoring thing for a car that is stock.

I've been reading a lot on the car on different forums and it kills me that I can't buy anything, so in order to do something I cleaned the solenoid that causes the BOG, even though I haven't experienced it yet. I'm waiting for Marlon to find an MBC so I can up my boost to 10

i had the "bog" once....i had no idea what it was, thought my motor was toast, total loss of powa...shut her down, turn it back on about 10 mins later it was fine. never did clean the solenoid

Try cleaning the throttle body instead. I hear that is a nice fix for both MSMs and NA miatas.

Why go thru the hassle when he's already planning on selling it soon? Waste of effort... besides... I think I know where the car would come for the work, and I don't feel like helping. j/k Kevin.

Pulled the Hydra from the MSM. Gonna box it up and ship it to Jeremy at Flyin' Miata. I hope it is the ECU, and I hope it isn't the ECU that's been giving me the problems. If it is... $$$$$$$. If it isn't, then I'm lost on what it can be.
