The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Shows what I know about Hondas... ie: bubkis

Me too. There is no such thing as a D16B8. I meant D15B8. But that looks more like a D16Z6. But I've been out of the Honda game for a very long time... I still love 'em though! The Honda scene though, not so much. I love the Mazda family much more. :)

For Levi's enjoyment;

Orange spray painted "tow hook" in your front bumper.

Your turn, aaaaaaaand go. :)

The spoiler isn't a cover. I think the mirror covers are the most ricey thing I have. And yeah, with the deal I got from Josh, it was worth it. And I got the hood for $200 shipped from FL. And you wanted a carbon fiber hood and trunk. So there. Next! Bring it on, buddy. Haha

ps- why is carbon fiber rice? It's real carbon fiber, not that 3M wrap stuff.

So are MR2s. Lots of race cars like them. Small additional load on the alternator, lighter weight, less load on the engine than a P/S pump, no lines / heavy pump / heavy bracket / fluid reservoir, etc. A buddy of mine installed an MR2 electric PS pump on his auto-x SMF EF Civic. Thing was making 200 lb/ft of torque from 2000 RPM on 275/15" hoosiers, and would literally rip the wheel out of your hand accelerating out of corners.
Do you guys know by chance if you can up the resistance on these? My 2 has electric PS and its a little light to me, coming from 3 previous cars without PS lol.

Nothing ricey about it says the guy with a cf hood, trunk, lip, eyelids, roof cap, spoiler off the top of his back window

you carbon fiber was not very functional, except the hood, it was more for looks than actual benefit, you would save more weight if you just let it rust. My carbon fiber did have purpose since I was maxed out on simple engine mods, and I actually tracked my car...

moving on to your chopped up front plate

Both of your cars are slow. My MS3 is so fast, bitches be lining up for miles to pose with it for front page pictures. Get yo games up.

What carbon fiber parts did you have? My car was still faster than your "track car".

And I have an untouched front plate. It's on a side mount because I like the looks and for better airflow to the radiator. You might be confused with Kevin's Protege front plate he cut down.

Moving on to your Home Depot chicken wire front bumper.

Some are adjustable, some aren't. Read the manual, anything that is "user configurable," generally speaking, should be in there. There may be a knob or something to change it.

it is, if you know how to shift... now let the grownups talk

I didn't, but they were on my list. My bad about the plate, Fabio is a whole other issue. It might have been chicken wire, but you couldn't tell the difference. Your car is still faster than mine, but we're not talking about performance. How about your non functional oil pressure gauge? It's cool that it lights up, but it doesn't work.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize you were Michael Schumacher. Next time I need advice on how to drive my MS3, I'll come to you for advice. Oh wait...

I can definitively tell you how to drive it, and since I learned the hard way I can also tell you how to mod it. My driving had nothing to do with the engine blowing, I didn't mod it the right way and never found out why it was over boosting.

Over boosting? What car are you guys talking about?

I use to have an MS3, s*** ton of mods and the engine blew up. Even with an external wastegate configured with a 14lb spring the car was putting out 24lbs of boost, so either there was something really weird going on with the turbo or the gauge was somehow reading almost double what it should. Either way it ran lean for a while after I put on the downpipe and rod # 2 snapped, wasn't pretty...

lulz

my dad had a couple when I was a kid, but I wasn't into Mazdas back then. We had a 323 and a 626 (these are not them, just to show what we Colombians call a 323 and 626). The MSM is my third Mazda, learned the hard way with the MS3, did better with the 3 and I like to think I'm doing even better with this one
