Ok I'm new to the site and new to little cars in general. So I bought a 2010 MS3 and I believe the prevision owner just rigged a Spectre air filter in to replace the OEM air intake. The reason I think this is the entire air box is missing (no mounting brakes for the spectre system), the filter is smashed up against the f IMG_2453.webpIMG_2453.webpender well and Spectre dose not even list a air intake system for my car. Also from looking at other pictures it seems as if other shrouds had been taken off of it. So to my question am I correct what would be a correct cold air intake for it? If been looking at the Cork Sport stuff and a lot of people seem to like it as well. Any helps is appreciated.

why did you post in the for sale thread first of all. Second of all do some searching its been covered countless times. But since you are new, that intake is not one made for this car. some douche made that him self. Either corksport or cobb has good intakes for our car. On the other forums there are some forsale, go check it out.

Flat out I screwed up on my first post, now tell me that has never happened before. I have been doing a lot of searching and just wanted to feed back to verify what I've found that is all. Thanks for making a new person feel welcom.

Thats a Short Ram intake if it can be classified as that and as you suspected its just a filter on the end of the stock intake. Nothing special what so ever.

Go with a Corksport....I would definitely replace what you have on there.

that's horrible bro, these cars deserve better than that :( a cobb SRI is not that expensive, please do it right the first time.
