Headlight Protectors

I want to purchase some headlight protectors for my new 2011 Mazda 2 hatch.

How difficult it it to put them on the car?
Would my hubby be able to fit them?

I bought the Lamin-X kit and tried desperately to get it to look clean. I ended up throwing it away. The problem is the film is too thick and is difficult to stretch into the curvature of our headlights. Maybe if you had it professionally installed or found a thinner film, your result will be better.

I used the Lamin-X on the fogs and it wasnt too bad. All the wrinkles and stuff went away after a few hours of the light "melting" the film.

Hopefully within the next two weeks I'll be getting I done. Just depends when my shrouds and harness come in. This one should go quicker than my last one since I won't need to paint the housings

What are headlight protectors? Are they some sort of film that covers the plastic headlamp assemblies to protect them from scuffs and hazing?

How about for 2003 Mazda Protege5?
It will use the same process. The Mini H1 would be the choice projector for that headlight for ease of installation. If you wanted a low beam only projector, and had more skills to cut the housing and mount a projector, the TSX or S2000 projectors are top tier.
