If guys are getting 500 on a stock block, I doubt 315 will do much more than inconvenience the duty cycle from laziness.
You are braver than i, sir. if i knew my oil was not in the dipstick's safe zone i wouod never crank the engine
You get cheap filters? i just grab the frams from wallyworld
had no choice, underground garage in manhattan, truck wouldnt fit.
o-rings were pinched/torn/blown....drained 1.5 quarts from the motor, 6 went in. spin on conversion with oil pressure and temp gauges have now moved to the top of my list
no metal shavings in what was left of the oil....hopefully no longterm damage
I cant stand our cartridge filters. i understand they can be a little less messy than a bottom mounted screw on type, but its more hassle than anything else. ive already had to replace the whole unit because the bleeder screw was starting to crack where the threads meet the head, and of course mazda doesnt sell the screw only
same with the gas cap tether. i cant just get the tether, i have to get a whole new cap
center console by the cup holders is all shiny
im guessing my journal bearing in the turbo probably took the worst beating, gtx3071 at tax season for me
Damn, stock shifter looks like a truck's stick... I spy a new shift boot, though?
