I voted for silver, but I drive the brilliant black. I just like the way the silver looks... couldn't find a silver sport manual at the time of purchase though. Oh well.

Aquatic blue mica here....if/when I buy a 2, this will be the color.

I've yet to see a silver. I like the green the best but I'm a ticket magnet so I went with black... and because it hides the smile as this^ guy/gal said :D

I LOVE the blue the new MSP3 comes in though!

I voted Black but got the Aquatic Blue Mica. Didn't have a choice when I bought mine, couldn't find any Sport Manual models in the area regardless of color. Almost ended up with the phsyco green, but that pinhead dealer pissed me off & lost an easy sale. The local dealer I cut a deal with had to swap out a Miata with another dealer 200 miles away.

The blue was my second choice, but Black definately has the best look to me. Darkside said it best when he pointed out Black hides the smiley the best. Would have this huge urge to lay a nice bright red stripe around that smiley though, add some black wheels with red highlights and I'd be ready!

I voted for Red, although I do like the silver and blue too...

However, I drive a black 2 (?). It was the only touring at the dealership in a manual. I like black..... when its clean.

Red. For some reason I have a fascination with red Mazdas: Classic Red Protege5, Blaze Red RX-7 and now True Red 2.

I like silver, I like white, I like black...

However, when I drive and take stock of car colors around me, how does it come out? Right, it's "silver, silver, black, white, silver, black, silver, black, silver...". Silver is probably the most common and inconspicuous, closely followed by black and white.

Silver, black and white are nice to look at by themselves, but they dissolve in everyday traffic. That's why I chose green -- to stand out (and to add a little color to the dull palette around :) ).

Being easily spotted could be a minus - you may end up getting more then your fair share of tickets, but it could be a plus too - as in not being run into because they just didn't see you (as once happened to me: my previous car was black, and that girl simply changed lanes into me at night. It was low-speed, and I was in fact stationary at the moment, but her first question made my jaw drop: "Where did you come from? Did you run into me?").
