I was looking about for pictures of proteges with their dashboard removed and stumbled across this: How to remove a Protege dashboard in 30 seconds
Apparently that's how we do it in Quebec...

I was looking for a How-To to replace my GF's TT's front grill and found this clip. If only it were that easy, champ.
This weekend I stripped the speakers from the P5 for the Milly. The fronts are the same size, 5x7 if anyone is curious. Tonight I'll make the block off plate out of spare plastic we had in the shop then mount some gauges in there over the winter.

It looks like a really annoying job, one that I'd much rather not do. There's always something wrong with this bloody car...
Oh come on, I bet whatever you were driving cost a lot more than a P5. Last week when my P5 had big gaping holes in the floor I was driving my mom's slushbox Volvo S40, the difference is astounding! But I still prefer my car, even with all its quirks it's fun to drive. However, if I had to drive a long distance I'd much prefer the volvo

I dunno. My P5 is just worn the eff out. Everything feels sloppy and its just tired. I really have no desire to put any more money or effort into it..Thinking about just giving my hood to EvilMonkey (he claimed it the day I got it) throwing a stock hood on and selling it for like 2 grand as is..
I have driven many a cars, from a STI to a Ford Expedition, I can honestly say I love my P5, it has character. The STI was fun, but maybe too much, I would get in trouble lol
I hear ya, I drove my friends modded MS3 last week and that much powa would scare me on the road course. I want to get used to what little power I have now, then progress with my drivers mod before getting more HP's.

I would swap everything over to your shell since I'm sure it's in much better condition than mine. No rush and no pressure, of course. But at least you know she would be going to a good home.

Yeah I hear ya, I drive my wife's subaru wrx a lot and I really do love that car, especially in the snow. When It comes to winding mountain roads though......the P5 is steller. I guess I just love my P5 because it is mine and is a reflection of myself. But all good things must come to an end and at 200k+ miles most cars are ready or getting ready to be replaced.

I fisted my car today; my hands are destroyed from tinkering under the dash.
As have I. From a heavily modded WS6 Trans-AM, a heavily modded Evolution, stock MSP's, modded MSP's and the list goes on. By far my favorite has been a 2010 4-Runner. I used to love my P5, but at 214k its done. Its been exceptionally good to me since brand new and has served me well over the past 8 years.
I drove the MS6 on a 1400 mile trip, nothing crazy (I have no interest in road course or autoX), speed/power/modification means little to me anymore. It was just a nice, solid, safe car to cruise in.
As for the Rotas, sure you can have them. For the price of the car since they'd go as a packaged deal if I sell it. The only thing that will go individually is the reverse cowl hood since EvilMonkey claimed it years ago and hes a wonderful friend.
Didn't you have a nice mx3 too? Forgive me if I'm mistaken, the last time I talked to you was at the arundel mills meet like 5 years ago. God that seems like a long time ago.
I would have been at your mileage if I still had the pro and didn't have my truck to supplement the wear and tear. I was looking at a ms6 but went for a new wrx instead. It's crazy but the wrx is as big as the ms6 now.
If you need any stock p5 parts let me know. I still have a bunch of stuff from yuki's P5. Going to make a thread with what's left but if you need something in particular let me know. You hooked me up with that msp shift knob for super cheap so I owe ya one

I always liked the yellow ones, those few tasteful mods make it look all the more better.

Unless he wants to make a bumblebeemobile I think it looks stupid (and it's less safe for night driving). Even the blacked-out Protege5 badge is a bit much imo.
But I've been told I have no sense of style sooo, take my advice for what it's worth
