I am not new to these parts - I had a speed3 for a year before spending a sad 8 months with a '10 S hatchback...its so nice to have another car where something happens when you use the accelerator!Early mod plans are a Begi 2.5" dual exhaust system. Not sure where to go with the intake, I'm having kind of a hard time finding stuff for the 09 (almost everything is 06-08)
I have such a nice warranty I want to stay close to stock on stuff thats not easy to take off (exhuast etc) for a while, intake can easily be removed for trips to the dealer
Been checking all the good guys (PG, Import Image, CS, Cobb), and just found out about BEGi.
I have two questions: How do you clean the top (already got the involuntary tree sap mod), and do you need to put premium gas in the 09?

Installed K&N High flow air filter today. Nothing too exciting, but I had a helluva time getting the airbox closed...I reckon I'm just retarded.
I'd probably have a hard time as well. Too new of a car for my blood...
Drove mine yesterday. Still waiting on some results on the datalogs that I took and sent to a couple people. Anyone on here want to take a look and try to diagnose my issue?

I'll give it a crack. What's the problem you've been having?
Well, at 7psi, the car act like it wants to fall on its face. Ever hear a Grand Am race car with the pit road limiter? Sounds normal, then sounds like it's lost ignition, then kicks back up, then down again. That's kinda what this does at 7 psi. I'm limited to half throttle to try to manually keep it at 7 so that it doesn't start acting up like that.
