The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I am staying in and cleaning the house. there's no way I am going outside today. (lol2)

I think it's awesome. I drove the Miata to work today! :D I'll definitely be top-downing it on the way home too.

Justine, my uncle has a Kia Soul and he really likes it a lot. He came from a Mazda3. It's a titanium color with (OEM) black racing stripes so I tease him all the time. But I like the stereo disco lights too. It seems like a cool car. Just teasing about the color. ;)

Changing my tires today (outside) and resetting my rearsway bar hpefully for the last time this year. I had to pick up some new allen bolt for the endlink block because I'm missing 2 and 2 have stripped. Squeaking like crazzzzzy because there is only 2 main bolts out of the 4 on each block holding the dam thing togther and there is alot of torque on them. Sweating my balls off right now and taking a ice tea break inside.

It's not that bad out there, just lost about 5lbs driving home from osu's campus

It's 90degrees and 62% humidity at my work shop right now. I keep looking for excuses to talk to the sales guys in the A/C'ed office.

I like my job, I get paid well for what I do and no college education, it's very laid back and stress free, quarterly bonuses, I work with my dad and uncle, my boss doesn't mind if I borrow tools or wrench on my car in the winter in the shop, etc. etc. But damn it's bloody hot in here in the summers! This is my 8th year here. I might switch to sales so I can sit on my ass in the A/C. Haha

Get a big ass fan and a huge cooler of ice and sit in front of both and just chill, homeboy

I think we have 6 fans mounted all over the shop. It helps a little. But thank goodness Phen and Ivan don't mind running the A/C. It's a cool 75degrees up in hurr! Ahhh.... :)

Except for a window unit in my bedroom I have no A/C in my house :( I can usually keep the house 10-15 degrees colder than outside so it isn't terrible.

What's people's opinions on the vw tiguan? little pricey even used but consumer reports gave them a good rating

I've worked on a few at the shop, seem like decent vehicles, although a little on the small side IMO. The last one I did was TSi and had a nice Carbon Fiber intake on it!

Where were you like two months ago when I was selling those??

I like them a lot. They are really fun to drive and are really nicely made. I just wish they would put the DSG in it, but overall, it's one of the better crossovers.

it's still gonna be a while, like next year before Amber gets a new vehicle.
