What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

anyone have an expierience with the 3" ebay downpipe? Or just ebay products in general? Like I posted earlier, it's much cheaper then most downpipes and the finish looks pretty good on it. I've seen other members running the ebay downpipe and I've seen pictures of it right out of the box, it looked pretty good!

3", stainless steel, no cat...

got a fresh saftey inspection this morning and then drove the car around for a bit doing errands... good to get behind the wheel again!

Did somebody say plasti dip?

And I am considering painting my grill that way with plastic dip. Have been for awhile.
Did this PS awhile ago

I think it complements the black on the fogs nicely. :)

Do it. that looks good!

I'll share my experience...

A long time ago I sanded the crap out of my front emblem, applied about 4 coats of just regular black spray paint, let that dry fully, and then applied about 4 regular coats of clear coat. It looked great, and held up for the most of it. Came out glossy black (not overly glossy so that it looks wet, just shiny), which is what I wanted and it looked great with my car.

After I went through 2 winters, it started to give out. When the salt stuck to it, and I took it to the coin op I guess when I was pressure washing the car, some of the paint came off with the salt!

I just re-did my front emblem a little while ago with plasti-dip. No sanding required, I sprayed right over on top of the chipping paint. Stuff holds out much better, it's kinda like spray on rubber lol. It dryed very quick too. Unfortunetly, I find that plasti-dip comes out flat and not glossy. I even got plasti dip clear coat and it was still flat. Looks OK on my car since its black, but the front emblem really stands out now thats it's flat black and the rest of the car is black mica.

I think plasti dip would be A+ for your car kid5.

EDIT: I need some feedback for the DP I might buy lol:

downpipe i have is corksport....i love it...had a local deal do the install for me. had to cut out the o2 sensor and i needed to replace it with a new one...over all time it took for the dealer was 7 hours...just hope your o2 sensor isn't one with the downpipe like mine was lol. also i have corksports catted race pipe installed ( got both products used for a great price - $300 for both pieces) if i didnt get the corksport downpipe i would of went with ebay due to it being much cheaper..and in all honesty what do you have to lose when it comes to it? its a stainless steel pipe. most companies up the prices due to the design..not the cost of materials

when it comes to the ebay down pipe i have heard good things about it from other sites. within the next 2 week i am buying the cx-racing fmic for my car. and then will be selling my tmic or putting it on my speed 3 ( speed 3 is my dd so idk if i want to do things to it )

just spray some real clear coat over it or any other color you want, should still be able to peel off in the end.

Just VTA'd my HKS ssqv III. wow sounds way better and got rid of the flutter plus no side effects that everyone talks about.

Got the oil changed today. Will probably need new spark plugs soon (been in there for ~20K).

I frequent the BMW E46 boards and we just did a June Secret Santa and got a huge Armor-All gift pack with some nice microfiber towls.....so I'm going to need to detail soon!
