What have you done to your MSP today?

lol and have you seen how hard it is to do coilovers on a speed 6? might as well save your pennies and get the coilovers and diff mounts and install them at the same time

Lol yea but in good news seller is a stand-up Guy and said he had no idea and immediately refunded me for my purchase plus return shipping

yea i figured the pictures would give it away. At this point ive been thinking alot about getting a ms6 lately after being in a friends the other day i might just tell the guy to give me a refund + shipping back to him and start looking around for a low mileage ms6 while slowly taking parts off my car.

Don't do it. It's a good car to keep stock, and I use it to run the family around in, but I'd hate it for a performance platform. It has too many FWD traits, and is really heavy.

Yea I hear youoi want to do some small Bolton's like an intake and the stuff I mentioned.above but I don't want to doo anything to like I did to the protege

I've driven a modified speed6 and loved it. And almost traded my msp in....but I decided to keep my car. I like the rareaty (Sp?) Of the msp. Also I like where our turbos are(back of the head sucks!!) And I like our suspension better

I've always liked the speed6. I'm saving up to go forged but part of me is thinking that plus the msp wouldn't be a bad down payment.
I always do this before dumping money into something though. Love the rarity of the msp, and know it's not the best platform but idk what I'm gonna do, so at this point I'll just keep saving.

A speed6 certainly is much faster and nicer. After riding in a speed3 running 19psi on a custom tune with just a FMIC and catback I really wanted one, or at least 330whp in my MSP! But I can't afford a speed3 for a DD and I don't really want another hatchback. I need a slow car if gas keeps going up, I'm starting to buy midgrade gas.

I personally wouldn't do midgrade on the MSP. You're driving a car that has a turbo attached to a weak ass FS motor and probably has quite a bit of miles. The 10-15 cents extra adds up to $1.50 max per fill up. I think that's better than the money you'll spend fixing it or the money you'll lose trying to sell a broken MSP compared to a working one. Just my .02

(werd) for the few bucks you'll save its not worth the risk.

hell yea everyone thinks there slow even wen boosted.... they just dont know how to do it right :)

couple years ago during a fuel shortage here in Atl, I had to put midrange and at points even 87 in, it kinda sucked and I just drove cautiously and tried to stay outta boost. It was a small bit of torture to drive it so gentle.
