once you tune the ssafc better for your can you will notice a huge difference, and as far as the squeaking goes, are you sure you greased the crap out of everything possible? just to make sure I don't have to go back in there, I make sure I grease the back of the pads, the spring pin things that go into the pads, and the areas around the clips, that is usually the problem when I have a small squeak, as long as the pads are in good condition and the caliper dust boot isn't tornInstalled my ssafc. was pretty easy if not for having to do the whole thing with a flashlight in my mouth. cant really feel any power difference but the car doesn't seem to stumble at high rpm or at wot. though the car seems to be dragging somewhere. not sure if its time to clean my filter, gut my cats or clean the maf or what not.
Not as lumpy though. power seems more linear.
but, still running 7 psi on my atp. impressions are limited. also did my rear brakes the other day and when im slowing down i can hear a faint squeel.. not sure if i ****** something up or not. its only when the brake is applied. i know they work just fine cause i adjusted the ebrake and it holds great.
hmm, I was actually thinking they were alternating, but I just went out side and took the cover off my engine so I could get a good look.. and what do you know, it is 2 green 2 purple, left to right.. I think I actually set my brother's msp up with alternating, when I put him back to the stock fuel rail/injector setup, and yes, he is idling lean now.. I will have to check on them when he gets back this weekend and change that to see if it makes a difference, I will post it up if he does not idle lean after I change them around (if he does have them alternating and not 2 green 2 purple)Just so you are clear its 2 green on the passenger side and 2 purple on the drivers side
I got mine from vibrant, works great, and my brother's vac. block is the one from Yudkib (can't remember how he spelled his name, but most people know who I am talking about, that one was $15 and it works great, just wish I hadn't tightened the brass plugs so much, because now I can't get 2 of them out...where did you guys get your vacuum blocks?
in all honesty does it even matter? an injector is an injector, no cylinder should be getting a different amount of fuel/spray pattern.. arent they the same exact thing just different color?
like I said up top, it might, because my brother's car is idling lean now, mine use to do that too, but my injectors were always set up properly, the idle lean for me was usually a tiny exhaust mani leak, or egr valve or something like that, but I will post up what I find out when my brother comes home this weekend
