What have you done to your P5 today?

And run to Autozone and buy a 10mm flare nut wrench. Makes a world of difference when dealing with rusty lines.

Or if there's a Harbor Freight near by, they have a whole set of flare nut wrenches for < $10 iirc. I have a set and they work great for that kind of work.

Are you sure it's 10mm? It looks bigger than that to me...

I looked at HF when I was there and didn't see any. But I'm sure they have some. Well worth their weight in gold. And I'm positive it's a 10mm. I just did mine a month ago and lent the wrench to my friend who did them on his 626.

Looks like I have two things to get. Flare nuts and bleeder kits. Closest to me is advance auto so I think I'm going to tackle this this weekend.

Got a cluster surround comin that im gonna try my hand at making a gauge pod with and oil sandwhich plate and gauges to go along with it.....ill have a few fun days ahead...something constructive to do FTW

Finally loaded the battery into the Miata to charge it...don't think the P5 has been moved in 5 months...completely back to stock other than putting in the B-Pillars and new gauge cluster plastic...then just need to adjust the throttle, idle is at 2,000RPMs now, but with the mods it was steady at 800...interesting...

drove it in the rain, then it hailed, then i drove for another 10 seconds, then it hailed some more, then i pulled her over into a lot for some cover, then it stopped hailing and raining, then i drove to class. now shes parked and im in class :)

foglight problem still isn't figured out yet :/ i would really like to have my yellow fogs back... T_T

Started it for the first time in over a week and went for a little joyride on some farm roads.

I suspect I have an exhaust leak somewhere ... it doesn't really surprise me, from the j-pipe back everything is essentially a solid piece of rust. I'm gunna let it get worse before I start hunting for it (and saving my pennies for a new complete exhaust).

ps- Kyle, your P5 in all it's shiny glory makes me happy and cry a little inside mine isn't shiny anymore. Looking good, brotha.

thanks!
but yours is all nice and low. mine never will be unless i fall into a bunch of extra money that i wont blow on new bikes :D

Finished my radio bezel guage pods (with supercharger switch and Aux fan) now im just waiting for the AEM Boost gauge to match and wire up the SC switch and Fan. (also install the other fan) Im probably going to do a relay panel with a power block for the switches and gauges to centralize the wires.
