Top speed, 0-60 times, braking distance, maximum lateral acceleration, horsepower, torque, corner weight, etc. are all quantifiable and aspects of "performance". Therefore, by defintion, "performance" is not subjective.

Any way...one day ill be able to post a good picture in here. I want to eventually run a 17x8.5 with a +35 mm offset. No poke. I hate poke. I just want it flush with the finder. My fenders are already rolled. I figure I can get a 225 up under there at my current ride height.

I believe the slammed point of view on performance is subjuctive to the cars "performance" for their needs. Not what the rest of us think of, as in the measurable performance catagories.

good luck with17x8.5 with no poke, I have 17x8 38offset and it pokes a little but it does about a 1/8 of a inch! so 8.5 is a sure poke in the eye lol
