hey folks.. haven't been around much because I'm still getting the routine down with the new job.

Installed new teflon bushings for the rear swaybar. Little stiffer than stock.

Morning all! repainted my front flying M yesterday and put the summer wheels on.....going to clean it up good today, vac and detail interior.

Would love to blame it on German engineering, but I think in any car "unmaintained coolant" == "busted heater core" and also in any car getting to the heater core requires taking apart the dash.

Avg mpg on my Subie is 24.2mpg so far, not so great. Highway was 27.

Could be worse. I filled up the Bavaria to get a mileage check yesterday...


16.4 mpg. This could start to hurt the wallet...

My day is going just dandy!

No sleep...too much stuff to do...

Filled gas tanks in both vehicles: -$130
Paid taxes on both vehicles: -$395
Emissions test on the rx8: -$40 (not bad for being 14 months overdue! haha!)
Paid parking ticket: -$25 (can't renew registration if there's outstanding tickets on it)
Renewed rx8 registration: -$85
LRP Ticket: -$100
Getting ready to order a cat for my truck: -$200 at least

..and it's only 11am!!!

Next on the list: Go to AutoZone to stock up on cleaning/maintenance supplies....we'll see how much I spend there


Edit: Forgot one thing...I pulled my car out from under the carport this morning and happened to notice one of the lugs missing. No idea where it went....it's just...not there anymore lol. Just to be safe I checked all the others, none were loose.

Edit#2: Anyone happen to see the forecast for the coming week? Sunny most of the days with highs in the mid-60s! Monday it's going to be cloudy with some showers/Tstorms but it's going to be mid-to-upper-70s away form the shore! I can't wait!

Tony, I meant to ask you this yesterday...

In your video, why is the camera swaying when you turn? Like...the car turns...the camera doesn't...and then the camera sways in the direction of the turn. ...I can't figure it out and it's bugging me! lol

It does it with up-down motions too, like going over a hump in the road and the camera movement seems way too smooth to be just inertia from the car turning.

Tony, I meant to ask you this yesterday...

In your video, why is the camera swaying when you turn? Like...the car turns...the camera doesn't...and then the camera sways in the direction of the turn. ...I can't figure it out and it's bugging me! lol

It does it with up-down motions too, like going over a hump in the road and the camera movement seems way too smooth to be just inertia from the car turning.

it has some funky feature where it almost like auto levels, trying to figure out how to turn it off!

Just washed the P5.....nice and clean, summer wheels are on, now after lunch, cleaning up the interior.....still have to vac!

Morning NEPOC! No rain for the time being and hoping it holds off until late tomorrow. Going to change the pads/f rotors on my sis-in-laws Pilot tomorrow. Also saw a pain mgmt specialist yesterday and next week I have my first of three ESIs (epidural steroid injections) in my neck, both C4 and C5 discs are bulging.

Thanks Bruce, at idle you barely hear it and cruising at 3k is nice on the ears with some drone around 3.5k but nothing too bad. WOT is pleasant and I have to stop pressing the accelarator just because...given the gas prices. lol

Enjoy the weather...it's a semi-decent day here.

I have whatever the TFT put on there when I got the wheels...no idea where they came from.

It's gives me a reason to switch lugs now...the ones on there now are chrome and don't look right to me with everything else being red/black.

I just can't decide whether I want black lugs to blend in with the wheels or red lugs to match with the rest of the car...thoughts anyone?

Gary, I have the lugs that TFT would have put on if I had the tires put on there. If you want one for the time being, lemme know. They should match.
