Hey i just bought the stage 2 kit with solid bushings. Quick easy install, shorten throw by 50% i believe, nice product. I recommend!

Hey Jamie, Im looking at this and the Jspeed product.. tell me why yours is $25 better.
I really wanted that to come out better than it did, but theres no decent way to ask.. lol

There are several good reasons why mine is worth the additional $25.00

1. 38% reduction in throw vs. the JSPEED's 25%
2. Includes a counter weight. ($25.00 value alone). JSPEED does not
3. Includes all new stainless mounting hardware and Loctite. JSPEED does not.
4. Powder coated in 3 colors for corrosion resistance. JSPEED is bare aluminum.

Most importantly, if you could hold the two in your hand you'd clearly know why mine is worth the additional $25.00.

I have a twm short throw shifter, twm shifter bushings, your counter-weight, and just ordered one of your shift knobs. Do these plates make any difference with a short throw shifter? Or do these take the place of the short throw shifters, and provide a cheaper option? What benefit would this offer IF it does work with the short shifter?

Yes they certainly do make a difference! The shift plate can be combined with the TWM short shifter and the reduction in throw is significant. Personally I love the combination, but with that said, it may not be for everyone. With the knob to offset added effort need to shift it's a perfect match in my opinion.

installed the shift plate with the shift knob today in conjunction with my twm short shifter/bushings and holy crap the difference is phenomenal. The shifting is freaking amazing. I have never been so happy with how this car drives than how I am right now. Shifts are precise, not loose and sloppy, and no clunking like it was before. Just a little click and its in gear. I am sooooo happy with how it turned out. After I installed the TWM 2 years ago, I wasn't nearly this excited. I am a firm believer in JBR now.
