Did I ever post this in here? A few months back, I found out I could drift the pallet jack.

HAHAHAH That's hilarious!! You got some mad skillz, is this the start of a new Formula Drift side league? haha
 
i've seen my manager do that before but he didnt have the mad drifting skills that you do
 
I found this video in a local cats thread (sm76) of member "iracemine"'s P5. You can skip forward to about 3:50 in the video. But good stuff while it lasts. I hope someday my P5 will be a track car...

I wet sanded the clearcoat blemishes from my ASA's and got them ready for spray paint. Got the Parada's mounted today and picked them up after work. Damn these wheels are heavy. I'll have to weigh them compared to the RPF1's. But they do look damn good. Can't wait to get them painted. I would paint them at work this weekend (the paint fumes are too much for my basement and the shop during the week) but my room mate and I are hosting a Mazda BBQ. Should be a lot of fun though. And I keep waiting for it to get a bit warmer outside so I can finally finish my CF hood. The shop is 65degrees during the day but cools off after I clock out. Hopefully next week I'll get it cleared and finished. i just don't want to botch the clearcoat with impatience.

Haha! I'm scared. I sold it all. I bought a Miata instead. My vagina hurts and I don't want to wrench on cars anymore. (those are all excuses)

Honestly, it's 30' and snowing right now. I still need to buy the headers, radiator then try to sort out the wiring. I am actually probably going to push the swap date even further to May after the Mitty. My FS runs great and I know it will get me to Georgia and back. But swapping in the KL and having it running perfectly in 2 weeks is a little sketchy and I don't gamble. heh-heh. But I'm sure once it warms up I'll be itching to swap it in.

Psh... I was outside wrenching. Would probably still be out there if the car wasn't pissing me off. It was comfortable in there to be honest.
 
Yeah, but I work manual labor all day shipping heavy boxes so I'm exhausted by the time I get home from work. Thus all my wrenching is on the weekends. You push a mouse around while sitting in a comfy chair. Hang on, I gotta get the sand out of my vag. I know, I know...
 
LOL. There is that too. But lately my brain hurts and all I want to do is sleep on the couch. Hahaha.
 
I'm impressed with that vid. I didn't think the wagons would keep up with the Miatas. Spec Miatas are surprisingly fast, considering what it is, a 20 year old car with a stock motor and a few suspension mods. Does the wagon in the video have a KL or FS?
 
It was an FS... until it did what all FS' do when pushed...
 
Here's some info on his P5. I sent him a PM and he said it's an N/A FS-DE with some bolt-ons. He said his next mod is either a trailer or window net. P5 race cars are very inspirational to me. So you Miata fan bois can GTFO.
 
all these guys hating on proteges, when they used to have one, make me laugh. I think all the problems people have with the FS is user error, mine hasnt given me any major problems yet...I guess cuz i did it right the first time? Keep doing your thing Lewis, i think its awesome :D

Just bustin your balls, bro. Your FS is about 2x as fast as my FS. But it will be way cooler when Team Ohio is KL powered.
 
Thanks Simon, I totally agree with ya, brotha. And keep doing your thang too.

Ryan, you're one of the few Miata owners who don't constantly bash Protege's and FS-DE's. You're cool in my book, mate.

If people want to bash Protege's then do it in all the other threads, leave it out of my build thread please and thank you.
