What have you done to your P5 today?

She's on her first full tank since putting new tires on, but with the 215's we were seeing 28mpgs highway

Damn....my best was 399 and two thirds of that was highway, the rest was during a mountain cruise. During the winter months I'm lucky to avg 280 miles per tank.

Ran a few errands this morning and ordered a MZ6 wagon rear wiper insert and some bolts/nuts for the rsb bracket. Checked the local Tractor Supply Co but wasn't happy with their selection so I decided to stick with OEM.

Seriously what the hell. My record is 650km out of a tank and that was all highway, and thats ~400 miles. Teach me your ways.

got a AEM Intake and mod it a bit

Heres my AEM SRI w my own stock mod setup-that i just ordered

i call it the AEM + (oem) haha
[not too creative , I know]

So i basically tweaked it so i could run the stock intake breather thats located by the end of the hood, (+) and did the mod which allows air to come in through the grille and up into the intake (+) [by removing that plastic there]

and added (+) the stock intake tube (elbow) that came before the MAS and placed it on the stock flat intake that i mentioned is located by the hood.

i really should dump my speed3s with the 215s for a thinner tire. always did good with the stockers but the car vibrated to much due to warpage. gotta kill the 215s so i can sell the rims! doubt anyone would want the wheels with the thin tires

Decided to boost! Ordered ECU and p/u alot of other goodies. Hoping to have it together by the end of the summer. We'll see. lol

why? lol been down that road before and really isn't that much fun in these car's well to me anyway.

LOL! I just love my P5. It will be paid off next month and still runs great (just too slow). I plan on p/u a real sports/weekend car in a couple of years. For the time being, the boosted P5 should be fine. I've ridden in MSP2k3's car and it was a huge difference (even before the baller rebuild). I'm gonna keep it close to a stock MSP, nothing too crazy.............maybe.Ha!

Cleaned the windows, vacuumed it out and tightened up the shifter knob. It's still cold to give it a proper hand wash but soon......

Stupid winter.:(
