Hey guys I wanted to get a turbo but didn't wanted to do anywork on the internals till later how many pounds of boost can I run a stock engine

With supporting mods about 10 psi for a daily. Supporting mods bein intake exhaust and a good tune

Intake System
Front Mount Intercooler
2.5" Turbo Back Exhaust System
Unichip

Should be fine for 10 psi I would think and a great daily driver.

Well I have a injen cold air and also a hks cat back and I was going to kit a turbo kit and then up grade that slowly

lol tell me about it. I'm getting tuned soon myself... possibly to run 15 psi...

I'm not going to promise anything. Going FI is very risky and could be a ticking time bomb, even at stock boost.

No no I don't cause this is my only car and I don't have a back up well I have 89,000 miles and it seems great to me

Dam man that's alot for a dd but I bet u will be geting around 300
Hp right

Hell no! The highest recorded whp protege with stock internals made 277whp by 505Zoom (I think). I'm looking close to 250-260whp and stopping.

Well... technically your correct, mybad.

I'll have to dyno my car then so I can steal that record...I was at 245whp/244tq with a hole in my boost piping and huge exhaust leak, and I've gone up 2psi....

I was thinking about tubing around 5 to 7 psi And what should I do if I want to run it that high

I hate to be the asshole in the thread but if you have to ask what you have to do to boost a certain psi you haven't done enough research. Sorry but look into it more or you're going to either get half way through a build and **** it up, or get it finished and pop your engine.
