From LX to MSP- my build.

Looking good man.
Those motors take the boost real well. There's some of the Probe LX/SE guys that slapped on a turbo and are running 13's all day. Definitely makes for a nice sleeper.

thanks, the stock motor does NOT take boost very well. many motors have blown cuz of it. haha. but a built one will handle it just fine.

i've been contemplating selling the car. and parts. i have a 2004 sti now and i love it..

but part of me wants to finish this car.. the other part wants to sell it and open my shop... if i can start finding the parts i need for a decent price, i won't have an issue building it again.

thanks for the offer man.. i need a lot. it's parts..which is money.

turbo kit, which needs to be customized for the supercharger, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, ems(sp 1000 haltech) m factory lsd, coilovers need to be rebuilt, mazdaspeed 6 brakes, etc etc etc.

+1 to that! I had one and i can honestly say i love my MSP 7235623672347915x more. i guess i feel everyone and there mother drives a subaru now days. Im an old person when it comes to cars, power steering and ABS are about as far into luxury or high tech as i like. And being able to change my spark plugs in 15 mins as opposed to an hour is also a big factor to me. BaH! who am i kidding.... i miss my subbie all of the time! But i really do love the pro over all more.

Why am I out of my effin mind? Yeah awd is a luxury but I think its worth it to have a beast that you built, not boughr. Plus a twin charged msp would blow the gay wing off an sti anyday

...doubtful..i only want to build it because i CAN. not for craziness. My sti with a few mods WILL destroy the protege. i promise.. but i love both cars. i'm keeping the lx.

04 Sti 3300lbs limited to under 400hp...pistons are the weak link so without a built motor 99% of them will be slower than the protege

Add in AWD... and I think the STi has the edge.

Well I know his build was heading towards 400whp at one time and unless they're doing 5k clutch dumps that awd is nothing but weight. I have never seen the tailights of one ...well not for very long anyway
