After the remote start had been installed, the auto windows do not work. How do I reset them? Thanks

The procedure has been posted before.
Please use the search function.
It is also in Owners' Manual, I believe.

From a previous post...........

For those too lazy to read thier manual:

1. Turn key on
2. Press and HOLD driver's front window switch until window is all the way down
3. Pull up and HOLD switch for THREE SECONDS after window is all the way up. You might hear a *beep* noise.
4. Repeat for passenger side window FROM PASSENGER SIDE SWITCH ON PASSENGER DOOR.

I tried searching about 10 or 11 times, tired of waiting for the 30 sec time limit, I couldn't find it. (although this forum's search feature is different then what I am used to)

I have a 2011 CX-9 with the fancy auto-key (or whatever you call it).

Th above procedure did not seem to work for me.

Is it

1. turn key switch on (as I do not actually insert a key)
2. press and hold drivers window until window is all the way down?????? or is it up
3. pull up and hold switch for 3 sec............................
4.................

Your order seems to be a little unclear.

Thanks

FWIW I couldn't find anything at all in the manual about resetting the feature.

fyi, compared to other forums out there on the internet.... mazdas247.com has one of the lousiest (most complicated and complex) search functions I have ever seen. I still can't figure out quite how to return a search for exactly what I am looking for.

I thought this was about resetting (cause it wouldn't work) the keyless entry unlock all the doors, then hold the button and it opens the windows and sun-roof...... procedure.

I see that is not the case now.

For some reason it doesn't work on my car, even though the owners manual says it does.

It might be a US only thing? or advanced key vs flip key?

I was very suprised that Canada does not put a tpms system in their cx-9's even on the gt.

Thanks guys...

Bought my cx9 two days ago and couldn't believe they missed resetting this feature for me.

Glad I googled it rather than searching through the manual. Thanks guys.

Is there a digital manual? I would prefer searching on my ipad than flipping through some pages. Don't answer it, I'll google it.

edit:

Got it.

Every time you disconnect the battery, the auto up/down windows need to be reset.

It is actually very intuitive to reset.
Just roll down the window (no need to go all the way down), then, up and hold it for 3 seconds. You will hear a "click". That is it.
Repeat it for another side of window. No need to remember it.
