Got new tires mounted today. Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Hoping with the 540 treadwear rating they will last a little longer than my previous tires.

We have 4k on ours and there isnt really any visible wear on them.

And worbit nice car! white and black are the best ms3 colors!

How are those contis? I have two sets of OEM wheels, was going to put summer tires on my brand new OEMs but have heard many good things about the DWS and I don't autocross....really just the occasional twisty and the obligatory on ramps

The DWS is not going to be comparable to a summer tire. I mean there is still alot of grip there but the steering response compared to summers is like night and day. and twistys dont exist in Fl so i cant tell you about that. There are a few members on here and in the ms3 section that have them. just ask around. But if you want a good tire for snow and in the summer then these are pretty good.

Mine is coated in pollen due to it sitting outside/under a tree for the past week or 2. and it will probably be there for another week or so. damnt.

After two winters here in Toledo with this one supposedly pretty severe, my PZero Neros have done just fine. I had originally bought the second set of wheels for dedicated winter tires but Im still not convinced that I can justify the added cost. Although I suppose 70$ a pop twice a year to change tires might make it a worthwhile proposition.

Personally if i would just sell one of the sets and buy a set of cheap 17s (probably steelies) for winters. or maybe a set of oem 3 or 6 wheels. that way your tires are cheaper and its winter so who cares what they look like.

Spent 5.5 hours detailing the inside and outside. Washed, clay, polish, and wax. Then drove out to St. Louis to visit an Army buddy, who drives an LPM MS6.

So i've had a set of hawk pads sitting in the house for six months. My coilovers came in last night and I decided to do both installs at once. Well guess what? Wrong brake pads...this sucks.

Trying to install led bulbs in my tail lights. Can anybody tell me which bulbs for the brakes light up when you press the brake? Inside or outside?

Outside light up when you hit the brake. Their is a the brake light mod that can be done with stock and CAR_LED tails that allows all 4 to light up as well.

Just sprayed off the mazda. I cant wash it since the wind is so great today. Im gonna try to take some pics for the for sale thread.

Well right now they are full tread and I hate the squirm from full tread tires. But the MS6 is my family hauler, doesn't get driven in anger like my MSP, and I really got the tires for the snow and wet ratings. I'm not expecting much dry performance out of them till they're bald.
