Aggressive fitment anyone?!

Looking good Circuit... Glad to see people stepping it up, we're definitely some of the last to show up in the stance/fitment game... Keep it coming gentlemen...

Thanks!

Woot! Silver P5's with white wheels FTW

shifu jay, looks good man...i see you say your doing fender work so im assuming your going lower? would look alot better once its a tad lower in the back

So right now my enkeis are 17 x 7 +42. I got about -2 degrees of camber in the back and -3 in the front. The back is close to flush but since I have 215 45 17 I can't really go flush. I just want a more aggressive offset all around. I also plan on lowering the back another inch in the spring somehow. Probably by cutting the springs. But I already tuck in the front and have issues with rubbing every time I corner. I'm gonna remove the fender liner and fabricate something that isn't so in the way, and I'm looking for tocikos for the front so I have less roll. But what do you guys think I should do spacer wise? 10 mm in the front and 5 in the back? Would I need new lug nuts? Let me know because I want a more aggressive offset.

first, no to cut springs
second, dont buy spacers until you buy smaller tires, your going to destroy those huge tires if you get any closer to the fender,
and a roll isnt going to help much lol
5mm spacers fit on stock studs, 10mm need extended studs, you can keep the same lugs

okay. but would 5 mm spacers at least in the front reall kill the tires that much?

and until i come up with a better way to lower the rear for real cheap, im cutting them.

on your particular case, just go out and measure 5mm and see were the tire would be
you say the tires already rub on turns and spacers will only make it worse

its your car, do what you want, just offering advice

i know. is there any other way of going lower without buying a new spring or cuting though?

and yeah but i think that may have a bit to do with the blown struts lol. im hopefully ordering tocikos for the front which should stiffen it up significantly

not really lol you could always get coilover sleeves for height adjustment, mine may be going up for sale soon if your interested
what springs do you have right now btw?

depends what he rubs on... it might help too.

i have ground controls, and yes, they work with any protege strut

As long as you don't care if you blow the struts out, correct.

if you can't afford to do it right, DON'T.

And carl id prefer to do it right but sometimes a broke 17 year old can't. I turn 18 here soon so hopefully I can catch a break and get a job, but if I don't then the sawzall is gettin to work.

lol i have tokico blues up front, with the coils all the way down, and I havent blown the strut after 15k driving it an hour min every day
stock struts may blow quicker though....and as for price, not sure, I wanted to sell them with my blues,
since i cant sell the tokicos by themselves (spring perch removed) so idk like 400 with the tokicos....of course ill have to make a proper FS thread first

you missed my point. if you can't do it right... DON'T DO IT. cutting springs is not the answer.
