NEMOC Random BS Thread

Good morning NEPOC....drove to work in the ice this morning...good times. At least there was a layer of snow that fell first so the roads weren't too bad...

i am having absolutely the hardest time picking out new prescription glasses. going all out with getting oakely lenses to go with the frames which will bring the cost of them just shy of $400. i have such trouble picking out something thats so pricey! dont want any buyers remorse on my face!

I'm on my second pair of Oakley frames and love them. My current frames are the Drill Bit in polished brown....thinking about splurging this year and getting prescription sunglasses.

Snowing again here in NH. Amanda called in sick because all the schools nearby canceled but they didn't cancel in Stoughton where she works (Mass is getting mostly rain I guess). She could've made it to work ok but coming home would've been a nightmare. Personally, I would've toughed it out but she's got sick days to burn and since she's on the lookout for work closer to home I told her to use 'em or lose 'em.

did you go all out with oakleys prescription lenses in the frames? thats my big debate now because i can either buy them on line for like $80 cheaper and just get standard plastic lenses, or spend some more on them in the store and have oakley put in their own lenses.

looking between these two at this point, i like the upper ones a ton but feel like the bottom ones just have so much more...pizazzzz. but they arent black

Morning all. Greatings from the great white north.

I would love to do the Targa Newfoundland.

How's the weather in NH Chris? Still getting the cars checked out and certified. Hope to be done today with that. Weather has been on the cold side, but much warmer today.

I just went with a basic polycarb lens thru my eye doctor. Hey...they are free with my vision plan (just have to pay extra for glare coating, etc). :) Since I got these last year, I'm thinking of using my bennes to get the sunglasses this year.

As for your choices, I like them as you have them listed one, two and three.

Speaking of getting cars checked out. It looks like I need yet another NH state inspection. I had to get one when they gave me a temp plate back in December but they put a sticker on my car that expires in two months. Now that I have my official NH plate, I have to get another inspection. What a ripoff!

Just did some snow-blowing......and some sledding with the kids! I love sledding! We have an awesome hill in out back yard....pics to come!

Trying to decide when to go out and clear the driveway. It looks like I've got a few hours before it turns to ice/rain but I don't want to misjudge and get stuck out there in sleet.

I'm hoping the bit of rain we've had melted what snow/ice was in my driveway when I left at 4am this morning. :)

so just got back from my second surgery follow up. doc says my shoulder is right where it should be as far as tightness so now with PT it should stretch out to exactly where it should be, or close to it.

he was manipulating my arm up waayyyyyy past the furthest point i had it all this time, kinda uncomfortable at one point. but hey, hes the doctor and he will know best.
