Thanks Roy. It was the only way I could capture the entire building. Unless I was to stand in the middle of the street, even then there are light/electrical poles in the way.

That is kind of the point. Snow is pure white--not gray.

if you use a little bit of highlight compression, you can get detail in the snow, but it will still be white.

The front plow honked on the way past us. I wasn't sure if he was honking at me up above him, or at the people on the sidewalk below. Well, I zoomed in on the cab in this picture and sure enough, he's waving at me...lol

Thanks, but I really like the dramatic effect, otherwise I would have done what you did.
Good job on the edit though.

the edit was way tougher than I thought... it makes the building look completely different too.

I guess the only option (which I guess wasn't an option) would be to back up and use a longer focal length.
