haha not much is going on in my build thread. i moved back in with the fam for a little bit to save some money and spend some on my car, but not much lately... just gonna reroute my hotpipe tomorrow, and hook my meth back up...

so quick question, what are ALL the parts that you need for the ms6 brake upgrade? i was thinking about doing this as well, even though i doubt i will get as sweet of a deal as you haha.

Aha, found the thread!

MSP w/ MS6 brakes

use this link, this is extremely helpful and will tell you everything you need.

its just the calipers, the mounting brackets, rotors, and for the rear you need the e brake cable. and your done.

Speedypro2003, you may also want to look into a Mazda 929 brake master cylinder. It has a larger bore and I think a slightly longer stroke than our stock unit. For a BBK with larger caliper bores the 929 master cylinder will help keep your pedal travel low and the feel firm. I would grab one from the junkyard and rebuild it or trade it in as core so you can get a nice remanned unit. You might even be able to use the MS6 master cylinder but I haven't seen specs on it or heard of anyone trying to swap one.

Def something to consider. i wont be doing it now as funds a lllooooooooowwwww and i still need to get the damn thing on the road. the brakes wont be getting put on until at least feb. :-/ i just ran out of time on it with winter coming and what not.... but well see.

Just scored a set of MS6 brake calipers and mounting brackets for only $60!! WIN! lol cheapest brake upgrade EVER!

Yes sir, but good luck finding some. I tried for a while and I just settled for the m6 06-07. They look great. Cheap awesome looking bbl upgrade for our cars.

you can buy the whole front "kit" from cross over, its ****** expensive though
