Why don't you try an epoxy. (not jB weld) get the 16ga plate and epoxy it to the hole. The paint it

Got a bad ass OBD scanner for Xmas, turns out I have a p0660 =(

On the other hand I got a cat back from my new parents!

Looking good...I did get quite a few tools...also a new computer so I can walk around the house now and be on it...can bring it with me as well...

I got a fire extinguisher for the garage from my parents. Appraently they don't have much faith my automotive work. heh-heh

Heh. Global warming my ass.

Well, yesterday, I just told my sister that she can have my P5 for a while and I'll take her E36 for the time being. She's away at school, and her Jeep that she's been driving is on its last leg, as well as only gets 12 mpg. She's too damn stubborn to get rid of it even though it's not good for much any more. Her E36 needs a bit of work that she doesn't have the time or money to do, but I do. So... my list of things I need to do are as follows..

Install rear calipers
Install new brake pads and rotors in the rear
Install oil pan
Install new hatch struts
Remind her that she'll be driving my car that I put $450 in brand new snow tires on.

What are big brothers for?

Just be glad you've only had to do it now. I've had mine on for 3 months already, and its been sitting in the garage on jack stands for two of those!

lol im about to go try to drive around like that...went to sleep drizzling, woke up with 8" of snow on the ground
should be fun :D

just painted the ends of the corksport rear tower a Cusco Blue color I bought from Checkers $12 a can! but looks damn good!

Fixed my boost leak. ( I think) gotta test it out tomorrow. Should be around the 9-9.5psi range. Going to Napa tomorrow to pick up some flanges for the exhaust. Not sure how I'm going to mock everything up yet.

Now that the boost leak is checked off, next is either the exhaust or the intake manifold from scratch.

Here's my game plan for things to do to the P5 today.

-Oil pan replacement. (I know you're sending one Alex. Yours will replace the one I'm going to steal.)
-put rear sway bar back on
-replace rear calipers, rotors, and pads
-replace all brake fluid
-replace transmission fluid
-needless to say, an oil change with the pan replacement.
