What have you done to your MSP today?

lol they mentioned how rich it was and asked if I had any means to tune. Said there was power to be freed.

and after you dump that above mentioned 5k into your car, you need forged rods and machine work. ;)

got my replacement hid kit last night and my SSQV. fought with pliars for like an hour trying to get that damn cclip in. apparently my snap ring pliars arent long enough =(

yeah but even at 9-10psi with a tune he'll be ok and his numbers will drastically go up lol plus u need to get on a dyno jet mustang dynos r no bueno

aren't mustang dyno's more realistic #'s to what would happen on the street?

sure, you can get it all for less. but you wont last long without a built motor.

id get a larger turbo only after after all bolt ons and tune.

Gonna try to put my hks in today and my hids. though im building a tv unit as well. busy day =).

Do tell Valk. I think its understood that a forged motor is needed, but I'm doing all that stuff and more(except the bigger turbo) before I go forged. Now about your tv unit........

from what i've read and heard the answer is no they under shoot numbers by a pretty good mount.. from what i hear dyno jets are more accurate but not possitive

unless your tryna push like 12+psi on a say a disco potatoe you wouldn't need to worry bout building anything under you shud b fine with a good tune.. and meth/water injection will jist make it all the more safe to run as hard as you want... in the course of 4 yrs at 10psi+ only major prob i had was timing jumped thats it.. but if your wanting to hit 300whp+ then def build..

so why does he need to upgrade his turbo? The t25 will allready make enough power to blow his motor. Maybe it's just me but i definitely think the 25 is is more fun to drive just because of how much faster it spools and how much more lowend you get from a 25, and yes i've had a 28rs on my own car so i know the differences between them.

the stock t25 is worthless after 8-9psi and thats where alot of guy blow there s***.. and trust me there is a huge difference in the gt28 and the gt25.. the only way you can't tell a difference in the turbo is if you keep it around stock boost.. and yes the 25 spools faster but it does not hold its powerband for nothing.. btw your crazy if your think the t25 is better to keep then upgrading to a gt28.. this argument is always ongoing.. half ppl say car will blow and half ppl say it won't... what ANY car comes down to is how well you car for it.. the supporting mods and a good tune... and thats a build or stock engine.. cuz in this world any can blow at any time

Other way around, mustangs are maybe a few HP low, but dynojet's grossly exaggerate the numbers. Anyway, a dyno is meant to be used as a tool and not an accurate power determining machine. An engine dyno on the other hand ...

cool thanx for clarifying that for me i wasn't sure.. i knew it was one way or the other lol

...Contemplating selling my car so I can go to flight school sooner...

One step ahead of you man.

I put her on Craigslist even though it hasn't been showing up there. Decided I'm done with the unreliability of it. It's given my wife nothing but hassle after hassle since I left and she only drives it once a week. If it's not sold before the 23rd, I'm trading it in when my new beast arrives! I would link you to the pictures of the new ride but they took it down off the site. It's currently being transported from Virginia to Norcross, GA where I will be picking her up from the fine folks at Carmax.

2009 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner (no supercharger add-on) with 7k miles on the odo. This is the newest car I've ever had. The Speedway Blue color is absolutely stunning too.

So much for my plans. *awaits Wagonbackers "I told you so" response*

Fact of the matter, I've tired of trying to keep an old car mint when I had no control over the first 68k miles of it's life. This way, I know pretty much what's been done to it except for the first 7k and that's not even broken in yet.

I can't wait to finally have 6 gears, RWD, and more than 200 hp at my right foot.
